SHEW started with a simple idea.
 

To create timeless leather pieces that are made to last, while celebrating the people and stories that make our lives meaningful.

Friendship has always been one of the greatest influences in my life. The people who stand beside us, inspire us, make us laugh, support us through every chapter, and quietly become part of who we are. They leave a mark on us, sometimes in ways we don't even realise until years later.

I wanted to create something that celebrated that.
The idea for SHEW began to take shape after travelling to Bali. I discovered the incredible craftsmanship of the local artisans there and became fascinated by the process behind creating beautiful leather pieces by hand.
I knew I wanted to bring those two things together: meaningful stories and beautiful design.

Something that felt personal, but could still become part of someone's everyday life. Something beautifully made, timeless, and special. Without feeling out of reach.
And so, SHEW was born.

Even the name has a personal story. SHEW started as a nickname given to me by my friends. It was something that came from the people closest to me, which made it feel like the perfect name for a brand that was always going to be rooted in friendship, connection, and the people who shape our lives.

The first bags were created with the idea that every design should have a story behind it. Rather than simply giving each bag a name, I wanted the names to mean something. Every SHEW bag is named after someone who has shaped my life: a friend, a family member, or someone whose personality inspired me.

The Original SHEW was the beginning. From there, every new design became another little tribute to someone important to me.

As the collection grows, so does the story behind it. Each new bag introduces another person, another personality, and another piece of my life into SHEW.

But there is something I love even more about the idea.
The moment a SHEW bag leaves me and becomes yours, its story changes.

It might travel with you on your first trip together. It might sit beside you at your favourite café, come with you to work every day, or become the bag you reach for without even thinking about it. Over time, it becomes part of your everyday life, carrying a little piece of wherever life takes you.

And just like the people who inspire each SHEW design, no two stories will ever be exactly the same.

That is what I hope SHEW becomes: not just a collection of leather bags, but a collection of stories, beginning with mine, and continuing with yours.
